On the evening as an extra birthday treat we had a meal out at Mama’s restaurant as requested by Bradley, I think he chose it because of the African animal theme.
Hi Denise, This is Rachel from the VSO press office.. I have been reading your blog for a while, it's really great to see what you are all up to! I sent Paul and email about a media opp. which it would be great to talk to you about if possible but I am not sure if he has seen this? Would you mind dropping me an email possibly with your details and maybe a phone number so I can get in touch, if that is ok!? I am on: rachel.trayner@vso.org.uk :) Thanks! Rachel x
This is my attempt at a blog diary of our two year stay in The Gambia with my partner Paul and children Abigail and Bradley. Paul will be based in Brikama College as a volunteer for VSO, training the teachers of the future in Maths. We hope to be living within the Kombos region so we have easy access to schooling for our two children, once this is acheived I also hope to do some voluntary work within the region. Please note that the views and opinions in the blog are mine and don't necessarily reflect those of VSO, also apologies for any grammer or spelling mistakes.
